Give Money!
All donations to Ealing Churches Winter Night Shelter are gratefully received. ECWNS is a small grassroots project with a budget of about £23,000. It is God's provision through the generosity of individuals, companies and charitable trusts that make this project possible. If you would like to make a donation please make your cheque payable to ‘St Christopher’s PCC (Night Shelter)’. If you are a UK tax payer please gift aid your donation as we will receive an extra 25% as a result.

Give Time!
If you live in the borough of Ealing or the surrounding area, and would like to volunteer at the shelter, for a evening/overnight or breakfast shift please e-mail lizmoo@btinternet.com. Our volunteers, working in three shifts, provide evening meals and fellowship, night time supervision and breakfast next day. It is a two-way process with the volunteers seeing their own sense of fellowship develop alongside that of the guests. We provide training and support, and warmly welcome new volunteers onto our teams. All Volunteers are required to sign a Volunteer Agreement outlining guidelines for the safety and welfare of guests, volunteers and staff. We also require volunteers to attend a training session.
(Next one on Wednesday 11th January 2012 at St Barnabas, Pitshanger Lane, Ealing W7 1QG at 8pm)

Give Items!
We need toiletries, socks, towels, sleeping bags, blankets and non perishable food. We will post notification of a collection point towards the end of 2011.

Prayer!
Prayer is vital to this project! It provides the heartbeat of Ealing Churches Winter Night Shelter and we would like to invite you to take part in interceding for the project. We are grateful to ‘Pray Ealing’ for their commitment to praying for the project (http://www.prayealing.net/news.htm) and we know that other groups in the area have committed to pray for the project. Please encourage your church to hold this project in prayer and do pray for us yourself. If you would like to pray for ECWNS and get regular prayer updates please contact the project coordinator on ecwns.office@yahoo.com.

Gifts in Kind!
Depending on your profession and area of expertise, you may wish to donate products or your professional services rather than a monetary donation e.g. our website was provided as a gift. We are extremely grateful to companies and individuals who are able to donate is this way as it helps keep our operating costs to a minimum, while still providing the best care and service for our guests.

Start a collection point!
Would you like to operate a collection point at your Church or place of work, where people can donate toiletries, socks, or sleeping bags?

If you are worried about someone sleeping rough
Email St Mungo’s at streetconcern@mungos.org.
